Home Loan EMI Calculator ("we", "our", or "the App") is developed to provide a secure, offline-friendly, and transparent financial utility for mortgage and EMI calculations. We believe personal financial planning belongs solely to the user, and we design our architecture to respect user privacy at every level.

2. Financial Information & Local Storage

When you use the App to calculate loan EMIs, plan prepayments, compare loans, or check borrowing eligibility:

On-Device Processing: All mathematical formulas, amortization schedules, and comparison matrices are processed strictly inside the local sandbox of your Android device.
Local Persistence: If you choose to save a loan plan, amortization schedule, or user settings, they are stored locally using encrypted SQLite / Android Room persistence and Android DataStore.
Zero Transmission: We do not operate proprietary backend databases storing your financial inputs, interest rates, property values, or loan amounts.

3. Diagnostics & Firebase Analytics

To ensure app stability and enhance features, the App may utilize Firebase Analytics (provided by Google LLC):

Aggregated Data: Collects non-identifiable, aggregated usage statistics (such as app open frequency, feature adoption, and screen navigation events).
No Sensitive Data: Financial figures, custom loan names, and personal identifiers are never included in analytical events.
Opt-Out Control: You can toggle analytical data collection ON or OFF at any time within the App’s Settings screen.

4. Push Notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

If you grant notification permissions, the App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver periodic financial tips, interest rate updates, or feature alerts:

Push notification delivery relies on an anonymous Firebase device installation token.
You can customize topics or completely disable push notifications anytime via the App's notification settings or your Android system settings.

5. Advertising & User Consent (Google AdMob & UMP)

To support ongoing maintenance and feature development, the App displays non-intrusive advertisements served by Google AdMob:

User Messaging Platform (UMP): In regions governed by GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, consent forms are presented to let you manage cookie choices and personalized advertising preferences.
Revisiting Privacy Choices: You can review or revoke your consent preferences at any time by tapping "Privacy Choices" in the App Settings or Privacy Policy screen.

6. Data Deletion & User Control

You have complete authority over your data stored in the App:

In-App Data Purge: You can delete individual loan calculations or utilize the "Delete All Data" button in Settings to purge all SQLite databases, cached calculations, and preferences.
App Uninstall: Uninstalling the application immediately removes all locally cached data and database files from your device.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security practices:

All external network communications (such as analytics, ad requests, and UMP consent dialogs) strictly enforce TLS/HTTPS encryption.
Local files are protected by standard Android application sandboxing, preventing other applications from accessing your calculation records.
Biometric or PIN App Lock can optionally be enabled to prevent unauthorized physical access to the App on your device.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed toward children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any revisions will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App following policy updates signifies acceptance of the revised terms.
